Repitition. Is it really neccesary?

other possible titles:

Kung Fu Vs. Car

Luck Vs. Training

It's not often that we are forced to use our training in real life situations but yesterday in the moments before i slammed into the hood of the car that just hit me as I was riding my bike home from work, my body reacted by getting ready to break fall. I suppose there is no conclusive proof that the break fall actually kept me from getting seriously injured but according to everyone I am really lucky and should probably have been hurt a lot more.

i need a motivational speaker...or at least i did

Finally I feel like i'm back into a routine it took alot of work and the warmer it gets outside the more i feel less like doing anything. My motivation has been pretty low this past little while and with a hectic schedule it was pretty easy for me to make excuses for not being where i should be.

food family fun

After two weeks of just plain dropping the ball I'm back into my groove well for the most part this blog is 4 days later then it should be.

I mentioned earlier that I was helping with the set up of fundraiser which was for breast cancer research and I'm proud to say that we raised over $1500 from our event which was a zombie car wash.

Also a bit late but worth noting is that me and my girlfriend successfully pulled off a 100 mile mothers day dinner for both our families. If you ever wanna test your patience try making from scratch, dough and all, enough perogies to feed 10 people. We paired it with elk roast and fresh salad. Unfortunate we didn't have time to grab some of the 100 mile safe wine so it was served with refreshing water. Over all it was great time and a relaxing afternoon, a sort of resting period between two super hectic weeks.
But now I should be packing as I am on the road again for the weekend

mostly here… i think

I ended up missing my blog last week and am very late on this one. It's hard to want to write when you have to write about how much you dropped the ball but i have document the downs as well as the ups so here it is.

It's hard to eat local food when your on the road or rushing about which was my entire last week. Without preparation it is actually almost impossible to eat a local meal. They take time and energy, but mostly time. With my girlfriends upcoming graduation it was back to final project mode which, for anyone not in design and photography, means a lot of late, late nights and very early morning days finishing up projects and setting up final photo shoots as well as editing and printing somewhere in there. So my life all last week was moral support and an extra hand to help get things done which meant being home very little and also very little kung fu in general. my last week wasnt all bad though had a decent amount of acts of kindness including randomly giving away an extra set of tickets I had to comic con to a lady and her daughter who were very happy especially since it was her daughters birthday.

I also went white water rafting which was nearly gave me hypothermia but was really fun none the less.

as for now it's trying to get myself motivated and back into a routine
