What a hectic week last week. I got a brand new car so I no longer will miss Kung Fu classes due to my environmentally unfriendly time bomb I was driving around. A bit of shifting my budget around and I made the car payments workable.
I also got promoted to art director this week. The promotion was bittersweet since the original art director was unjustly fired. At the same time I did need the raise that comes with the position and the title looks good on a resume. Also he was leaving at the end of the month so the position was mine anyways.
So after a crazy couple of days of production that involved me training a new person and myself I took a four day weekend and spent almost none of it in the city. It's always so relaxing to get out of the city and back to nature. I find that it makes me feel refreshed and clears my mind
Now It's monday and back to the grind... I already miss the water
